 Dear colleagues, we invite you to join the V Moscow International Conference on Operations Research. The conference brings together scientists from all over the world to discuss theoretical aspects and various applications of operations research. Dorodnicyn Computing Center of RAS, Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics Faculty of the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University and Russian Scientific Operations Research Society will organize the Vth Conference in April 2007 in Moscow. This conference is dedicated to the outstanding Russian scientists Nikita Nikolaevich Moiseev 90th birthday. Working languages of the conference - Russian and English.

Topics of the conference include:

1) New models and methods;
2) Optimization methods;
3) Multiple objective decision making;
4) OR in economics;
5) OR in military science;
6) OR in finance and insurance;
7) OR in medicine, biology and ecology;
8) Computer-aided design;
9) Game-theoretic models.
Two special symposiums on actual problems will be held: A Analysis of the markets and decision making in electric power industry,
B Models of political decision making

    Notification of submission: February 1, 2007.
    Accepted abstracts will be published in proceedings of the conference.

    Important for writers:

  • An abstract should be prepared in MS Word according to the attached template. (Download: MS Word file.)
  • One abstract should take 2 pages.
  • Abstracts should be sent by e-mail to io@cs.msu.su in an attached file. The subject of the letter should be: ORM2007 abstract.
  • The letter should contain authors’ names and the title of the abstract.
